Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheet of perfusion items and handover to concerned person
• Prepare duty roster, leave record, fill daily attendance register and other administrative work
• Train junior perfusionists.
• Make entries of total number of cases and monthly consumptions in perfusion record
• Check stock in position daily and make entry in stock register.

1. Preparation for operative cases in OTs

2. Assemble the Heart Lung Machine for OT procedures:

3. Assembly of extracorporeal circuit.

4. Arrange the Temperature Control Machine (TCM)

5. Priming extracorporeal circuit , Cardioplegia Device

6. Arterial Cannulation

7. Recovery room management:

9. Transmyocardial Revascularization Machine

10. Radio frequency ablation

11. Indent Medical, Pharmacy and general items on weekly basis and enter stock position in stock register
